Since our lives have become so fast paced where we are flying from one place to the next without a moment to glance up and look at our surroundings, we tend to forget our most basic instinctual drive, which is the need to give. You could say that it is already built in us because when we do give or carry out an act of kindness, we end up feeling a number of changes inside our body, especially in our endocrinal system. Our endorphins or happy hormones are released, and at the same time, our cortisol or our stress hormone levels decrease. So, you not only help make someone else’s day brighter, but you also feel lighter afterwards.

So, you don’t have to wait all year or for special events in order to give anyone anything. It doesn’t always have to be grand, sometimes the smallest gifts and gestures speak volumes.
